Pink Glow Vertex Cerakote Release
Cerakote Special Release
Pink has always been a difficult color option to source. Pink anodize never looks correct because it's just red that they pull out of the tank early and looks like washed out red. Many of the pink resins fail to capture that sought after true-pink tone. Over the years, we've tried multiple Cerakote colors with varying results, the majority of pink Cerakote is very hard to apply uniformly and ends up looking "streaky". Aaron at Area 15 toiled for quite some time testing out the fully pink spectrum including a few custom blends he made and landed on a new concoction that we're calling Pink Glow. Pink Glow is nice and uniform with a flat finish and light texture, it's very much a "bubblegum" shade of pink. We think it looks incredible paired with matte black but all of the grip options are available on purchase.
The Pink Glow Vertex Cerakote Release is our machined aluminum Vertex with a professionally applied coat of custom Cerakote. Cerakote over aluminum adds a wonderful layer of color that is heat cured and hardens nicely forming a protective surface that can absorbs scrapes, dings, and dents. It will wear over time but is hardness rated for everyday carry wear and tear. This allows for protection and a variety of color options unavailable to us through traditional anodize. Select from a variety of grip and nib options to customize your pen before checking out. Ships in our recyclable packaging, includes a Schmidt K5 converter and two black Monteverde ink cartridges.

Pocket Fountain Pen
Clipless fountain pens aren't rare, but they can be controversial. The Vertex fountain pen wasn't our first try at a clipless fountain pen, in fact, it wasn't our second or third. But it's the only one that's stuck around and become a fan favorite. The design of the Vertex is based around the idea of a near-seamless transition from the grip to the body with an elongated grip made of acrylic or polycarbonate giving the impression of an "ink window". Secondarily, our implementation of o-rings in our pens allowed us to create a pen that caps with a custom o-ring, seals the nib with an o-ring, and seals the body with a third o-ring. Providing the possibility of eyedroppering the pen without the need for silicone grease. The shape is a modern cigar-style that draws inspiration from classic fountain pens from Wahl-Eversharp, Parker, and Sheaffer, but does so in a way that feels fresh and new. Though we designed the Vertex with resins and plastics in mind, we've since expanded to include aluminum, and most recently, fully-machined brass versions. Our most comfortable fountain pen by a large margin, the Vertex has quickly shot up the ranks in popularity, edging out the INK for our top fountain pen spot.
